How We Pick

Our Selection Criteria

Every game on Kilderstone has been played by at least one crew member from start to finish. We don't take recommendations. We play.

What We Look For

1. Craft

The game has to feel made. Whether it's pixel art, code, design, or narrative—we can sense the care. Games polished by teams who actually cared about the work.

2. Uniqueness

We skip battle royales, clones, and reskins. Each game should have something to say or a unique way to say something old.

3. Fairness

No loot boxes. No gacha mechanics. No energy systems that gate progress. No aggressive ads. Games should respect your time and money.

4. Age Appropriate

Every game here is safe for ages 7+. No 18+ content, no gambling, no hateful language. Games that don't need a warning label.

5. Available on Mobile

Both crew picks and official stores matter. The game needs to exist on Google Play and/or App Store, and it needs to work well on phones.

What We Skip

Our Promise

Every recommendation here is genuine. We won't accept money to feature games. We won't promote titles we haven't personally played. We're three gamers with good taste, not an algorithm.

If we recommend a game and you play it, we stand by that choice. If you hate it—tell us why. We'll listen.
